The majority of shoppers now consult their mobile device for automotive research prior to visiting a dealership, and even  on the lot, making it imperative to take a mobile-first marketing approach.

That’s exactly why Cars.com will Go Mobile at NADA 2014. As part of our effort to help you reach and influence mobile shoppers in 2014, we want to know what you do to reach mobile shoppers. Cars.com mobile Tune-up NADA 2014

You have a chance to help your dealership become a Mobile Pro by participating in the Mobile Tune-Up.  The winner will receive a $300 cash prize, and then a fleet of iPads accompanied by an in-store mobile training session for their dealership, courtesy of Cars.com!  This prize will provide the winning dealership the tools, resources and knowledge to succeed in the mobile environment.

To enter, you must text the word “CARS” to 88769, and then reply to a short prompt which asks for a mobile tip.  Some of the best tips will be posted online throughout the NADA Convention and Expo to show good examples of how dealers are using mobile.

 How to participate:

  • Text the word “CARS” to 88769
  • Reply to the prompt with a mobile best practice (e.g. “Send a text message to customers to confirm showroom visits”, “Make sure your website is optimized for smartphones and tablets”)
  • When prompted again, reply with first and last name, dealership name, and state
