  1. I think its a great idea to be able to chat but most customers are just shopping and dont want to be bothered and if they do they would call you. Your chat idea is great for those that want to chat. I dont see the purpose if they can just call you with your number on the screen or just e-mail.

  2. I have found that in the month I have had Live Chat it takes a dedicated person to do it, as it takes 5 to 6 minutes to say what can be done in 2 minutes on the phone. Thus an ISM is needed, as we miss chats when on the phone or talking to live bodies. Sadly I have found most of those using Chat are kids or bored people who are mainly attracted to very low price cars or just want to have a pen pal. They don’t want to call or set up an appointment – “strokers” in other words. Call me cranky, but I don’t like it. It is time consuming and so far unproductive, even though it is the “latest thing”. Texting, bleh.
